The Opportunity Gap
We’re Addressing
Underrepresented women entrepreneurs, particularly Black and Brown women, continue to face systemic barriers to capital, mentorship, and business infrastructure. These barriers are most concentrated in urban and underserved communities, where access to permanent, community-based resources remains limited.
Boss Summit® exists to close this gap by creating infrastructure, programming, and networks that support long-term economic participation and ownership.
-
Limited access to business capital
-
Lack of culturally responsive mentorship
-
Few permanent community-based resources

Our Mission

Who We Serve
Boss Summit serves underrepresented women entrepreneurs, including Black and Brown women, first-generation founders, and women from historically marginalized communities seeking access to ownership, opportunity, and economic participation.
Why This Moment Matters
With building ownership secured and construction nearing completion, Boss Summit is ready to activate a permanent Community Hub. Strategic investment now ensures the Hub opens fully resourced, staffed and ready to serve. The Hub also anchors a broader Build Back the Block initiative supported by five (5) adjacent parcels of land secured through the Cleveland Land Bank.
The Boss Summit
Community Hub
Currently in the final phase of construction, the Boss Summit Community Hub will operate as a year-round resource for underrepresented women entrepreneurs. The Hub will host workshops, mentorship, workforce development, and community events, while also serving as the operational base for Boss Summit’s expanded programming.
What We Need
We are seeking funding to complete construction, furnish the Community Hub, hire staff, and launch programs that support underrepresented women entrepreneurs.
