We are a network of powerful black and brown women that are willing to work with city leaders and community organizations to strategically plan development activities to challenge some of the toughest barriers surrounding economic depression currently facing under-represented people.

We are growing as a collaborative force to create opportunities in low income areas and neighborhoods, while specifically focusing on cultivating model for community hubs, business development, and economic empowerment for community members to strive.

BOSS SUMMIT® is a registered non-profit organization that seeks to advance the economic power of women, promote women entrepreneurship, and build a legacy community for the empowerment of urban and under-served communities.

BOSS UP & BUILD BACK THE BLOCK PROJECT

In an overhaul Boss Up and Build Back The Block initiative we seek to

team up with our for-profit arm, Mink Bawse Enterprises, Inc. to purchase and rehabilitate a block of homes.

 

Our Community Hub has long been an interest of Boss Summit since late 2020, and one that we see as a big equity issue given that individuals experiencing the opportunity to grow people in our society.

Underserved communities of color disproportionately bear the impact of social and economic inequality in America. By focusing resources and investments we will produce the greatest returns.

Within the first 5 years we will have purchased, rehab and rented

3-5 Quadruplex units, one 15-20 space parking lot. In addition, to provide black beautification and open one business center to provide direct resources to economically advance the neighborhood.
