Meet Boss Summit Founder: Lynn Brishae

​Lynn Brishae Fulmore — Boss Summit®️ creator, 5x author, blogger, real estate developer/investor and serial entrepreneur — is a BOSS in every sense of the word. A native New Yorker, she is no stranger to the hustle. 

Lynn Brishae climbed the career ladder during her college years to end as a Regional Marketing Acquisition & Retention Manager for a Fortune 500 company for 24 years. In addition, she worked for over two decades in various federal government buildings located in the DMV area as a contracted Lieutenant for the Department of Homeland Security.

Nowadays, Lynn Brishae wears many hats as the sole developer/investor of her Boss Up & Build Back the Block Project currently underway in Cleveland, Ohio; the founder of her annual Boss Summit®️
The Ultimate Women’s Business Retreat; the owner of Brown Mint Skin, her curated skincare line; that consists of an organic, paraben-free, cruelty free cleanser, toner and moisturizer; the CEO of Mink Bawse Enterprises, Inc., a business consulting agency; MBE Publishing LLC, her publishing company; the author of her autobiographies The Wealthy Dreamer and A Hat Full of Rain, as well as her 2PK children’s books under the ChocLitty brand, Just Call Me Choc-Lit and Color Me Brown. Lynn Brishae is also the owner of Boss Water, a private-label spring water for female entrepreneurs; she also heads “The Boss Experience”, a podcast she birthed for fellow boss women to share their experiences as entrepreneurs. Lynn Brishae currently owns a total of four trademarks for her businesses. ​

Lynn Brishae is a 2x HBCU graduate. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University and her Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Morgan State University. Lynn Brishae is deeply inspired by black excellence, and in 2018 when she caught the entrepreneurship bug, she made a commitment to create spaces and products that help push the culture forward. That’s when she created her first business followed by four more shortly after and multiple projects.

Today, her most known business yet, Boss Summit®️, embodies all that black excellence is.
The Boss Summit® (a 501(c)3 nonprofit) is an annual luxury business retreat for BIPOC women that has raised more than $5,000 and awarded more than $7,000 in business funding to deserving female entrepreneurs. Boss Summit has also donated $8,000 thus far in scholarships. In addition, Boss Summit® secured a $35,000 start-up grant to support entrepreneurship growth in July 2023 from The George Gund Foundation.

A lover of wisdom, learning and storytelling, she believes that our stories have the power to heal, and it’s this belief that led her to write her first autobiography, The Wealthy Dreamer: Lessons From My Dad That Helped Me Build A Million Dollar Net Worth. Dedicated to her father, Lynn Brishae shares powerful financial lessons, chronicles her real estate journey, and leaves readers with actionable steps they can take to get their finances in order.

In her second autobiography, A Hat Full of Rain: A Story of Forgiveness, Lynn Brishae pays homage to her mother and candidly shares how she found herself transitioning from adoring her to mustering the strength needed to forgive her.

Believing in the need to pour into future generations, Lynn Brishae has also authored Just Call Me Choc-Lit and Color Me Brown, a 2-pack children’s book bundle intended to create a much needed conversation around Colorism Awareness.
